Just minding my own business doing dishes and suddenly 2000 lb mammals join me!! They love fresh water and will stay as long as the tap is on! Pretty cool.
The marina staff said if we see a Manatee we have to take it with us! I can just imagine adding one of them to our menagerie of pets!

Dec. 22/06. Great pics, what happended to Abbey's hair! I guess it's low maintenance time. Thanks for the Xmas card, and have a great Xmas everyone. You're going south to where? Still Florida?

Hey Nancy,
I guess you didn't see her before we left- Abbey decided to have all her hair cut off so she wouldn't have to worry about it. Pretty good decision actually, very low maintenance so far. We'll move on in the next few days towards Miami and then make the jump to the Bahamas. It'll take us a little while to get through Florida as there are lots of restricted bridges and we aren't in a hurry now so no more insane long tiring days. Merry Christmas
