Christmas 2006

Okay so these pictures are going to be out of order!! This one is a little dark, these are our friends on "Whisper" Kristen and Hans. They have an Albin Vega- what a great boat, very seaworthy and very cool. This type of little boat has gone around the Cape Horn and to Antarctica. We really like Hans and Kristen, very nice and cool, we completely understand the dream and what they are doing and enjoy spending time with them.

This is Abbey after opening her favourite Christmas present a "Fur-Real" jungle baby that purrs and you have to feed it a bottle. She named it "Candy". Very cute. The kids also got a real cool Battleship game but modified to be "Pirates of the Caribbean" with the Black Pearl and strategy and stuff. Much more involved than Battleship and should keep them busy for a while.

Opening presents, the boat was stuffed!! Where are we going to put all this stuff- who knows.

The kids woke up to find that Santa did find them after all! Very cool, he even brought the kids boogie surf boards to play with in the Bahamas.

Rob Christmas eve put out all the presents for the morning.

The kids in the dinghy attempting to fish. Nothing yet but I'm sure they'll get something soon!!

A better picture of Kristen and Hans, this is just before a rain storm came through and swung the boat around her anchor. It was short lived though and no problem, this anchorage has great holding and is shallow so no problem.

I got really close up to this pelican. He seemed very tame almost and is missing one foot. Poor little guy. He left shortly after this shot to go after a fish!

This is when we all got together for pot luck with Whisper. Sorry about the quality- I couldn't copy it off the internet so yes I took another photo of it to add!!

Abbey exhausted after a long day of fun in Florida. Snuggling with Stitch, her new budy from DisneyWorld.

We had a great Christmas on the boat, the kids were happy and not much different compared to if we were back at home. We are on our way to dinner with our friends on "Whitebird" and tonight a gathering with "Whisper". Life is good.
Merry Chirstmas to everyone back home and everyone reading. Happy holidays.
