We had to stop in South Bimini for a marina due to strong winds blowing through. It was great, you step off the boat directly onto a beach which was segregated from the marina so the dogs could run free!! We all had a good time, Kismet was with us and the kids played on the beach, they also had a pool!

Maggie had the run of the beach, she was so happy, Shadow too!

Abbey picking up Hannah! Very cute.

This is back in the US at Key Largo. Our engine died trying to get out of a channel. We had to emergency anchor and use the dinghy to get out but a nice passing ferry called Towboat US for us. We were covered and so it was free. The towboat guy was so nice, he took us out of the cut to a safe anchorage. The engine was contaminated fuel so easily fixed thank goodness. You should've seen the crude and water in the fuel- thank you Miami.

This is Rob and Chris is there too coming back from hunting. They brought in 10 large rock lobster- it was a feast!!

On the dock the kids looking at the lobster. This is Dave from "Wave Dancer" they have two dogs and came all the way from Texas. Nancy and Hannah from "Kismet" are helping to hold the lobster.

Snowday arriving safely in Bimini. Yay, we made it. Our crossing was great- I was wrong previously, we left Wed am and arrived late around midnight. So Thursday was our first day in the Bahamas. Checking in to customs was no problem and the pets too.

A day at the beach in Florida before leaving.

Snowday leaving Miami behind!!

Yes, rich Americans build houses on stilts in the ocean! I guess they don't have to deal with having neighbours! I can't imagine being here during a hurricane they are very exposed!!

The kids snorkeling in the Florida Keys. The water is so clear, when we were crossing we could see the bottom at 30 and 50 feet of water! It's like sailing in an aquarium! Then the ocean is such a gorgeous deep dark blue, it's almost purple. At night the waves going across the boat sparkle with the phosphorescent algae!

This is from our very sad goodbye with Whisper. We still miss them very much. We have heard that they made it safely to the Abacoes and hopefully we'll see them in April. They went back one more time without me for Key Lime pie in Lantana, Fl- I'm so jealous!!

Spending time with Mike and Kylie from "Meggie" in Miami. We had a good day on the beach. They crossed from Miami and made it safely all the way in to Nassau- whew- that's quite a long stretch. With the dogs and kids we broke it up and stopped in Bimini, then Chub Cay and then on to Nassau.

That's all for now, we'll try to post again when we can. Internet access is hard to find except in Nassau so we may not post for a while. Hope everyone is well, miss you all- Snowday
